My Best Freind

I know that I haven't written for a while, just been busy. I am done with college and sadly to say I sold my mare Grace. She is the one who inspired me to make this web site and to share our travels together. She taught me so much about how horses interact with each other, play, and how the leader moves the other horses around using the porcupine game. Though of course I miss her so much, her teachings to me will always straighten me and the way I will play with my next horses.

Amazing Grace was my very first personal horse
She had been abused and neglected
the first few day were bad but,
I knew there was a calm spirit in there
After a while there was a change
A clam spirit worse and that was what I was after
I camped with her in the pasture
played with her every day making her calmer
I called her name, she would always look for me
So eager to be with me and more for me to be her leader
Soon we packed for school in CA
Sadly though it was not what she needed for her needs
I though continued to play with her they way we have always done
Then came the time to say goodbye to my best teacher,
